Companies House have reminded Businesses of the increased penalties for the late submission of accounts from1st Feb 2009.
The new tariff for Ltd Cos is :
<1 month late £150 (previously 3 months was £100)
1< 3 months late £ 375
3 < 6 months late £750 (was previously £250)
>6 months late £1500! (was previously £500)
For a Public Company the penalties are :
<1 month late £750 (previously 3 months was £500)
1< 3 months late £1,500
3 < 6 months late £3000 (was previously £1000)
>6 months late £7500! (was previously £2000)
